6 Serbian businesses selected to join the next BE.ST lab in Italy

June, 28, 2019

On the 25th and 26th of June the premises of the Nisava Administrative District hosted the 3rd best practices lab organized in the framework of the BE.ST. (BEst practices exchange to STimulate Serbian SMEs growth) project, an initiative promoted by INSME in collaboration with Cluster House and financed by the Central European Initiative (CEI). After the first two sessions on “How to Innovate” and “How to enter new markets” carried out by Giovanni Zazzerini, project beneficiaries had the chance to gain a better understanding of how to be effective and successful in presenting their business ideas. By using a very interactive approach, our expert Lorenzo Pellegrini, General Manager at App To You, guided the community of Serbian entrepreneurs and start-uppers taking part to the initiative through tools and techniques that could help them in attracting/persuading potential investors. Participants were invited to pitch their ideas twice: at the very beginning of the session and then after having received theoretical information and practical advices on how to be effective. At the end of the two days only six of the more than 30 interesting ideas presented during the three workshops have been selected. These six promising ideas will be presented during the final workshop that will be held in Trieste in October and selected entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet experts and investors that could be potentially interested in guiding them in accessing funds.
