ADB Unveils Venture Platform to Invest in Impact Technology Startups

On the 31st of January, the Asia Development Bank – ADB (INSME Member) established the ADB Ventures, a venture platform that will help the financial needs of start-up companies operating in the sustainable development field in Asia and the Pacific.

The target area will be mainly early-stage startups and companies related to climate change and women empowerment.

ADB Venture Investment has a target size of $ 50 million and a 17-year fund life that will start operating in the second quarter of 2020.

This fund will mainly invest in early stage start-ups and is focused on companies with solutions that can address climate change, technology, women empower like clean-tech, fin-tech, agricultural technology, and health technology solutions.
