Mrs. Mouza Al Nasri, Acting CEO at Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and INSME Vice-President recently took part in the Talk Series organized by the UAEU (United Arab Emirates University) Science and Innovation Park.
The UAE was the first country in the Arab world to develop a plan to foster its economy during and after the Covid-19 pandemic and Mrs. Al Nasri highlighted that at the beginning of the pandemic Khalifa Fund produced a comprehensive 46 pages report on the ongoing and potential issues related to Covid-19 which also includes recommendations on how to face the current challenges.
While it is undeniable that we are living a very difficult time, it is also true that challenges can be seen as opportunities to be exploited. To overcome today’s crisis, it is of vital importance to offer the solutions consumers are looking for and it crucial to act fast and be ready with an efficient market, communication and marketing strategy.
Khalifa Fund’s commitment in this period is stronger than ever and if on the one hand it is acting to make UAE an entrepreneurship hot spot (as stated in the UAE agenda 2021), on the other one it is keeping on supporting small and medium companies by offering 1) financial support to manage this hard moment 2) trainings and programmes to help them find solutions to reinvent themselves.
