July, 31, 2019

Developing innovation management system is the pre-requisite for companies’ future profitable growth and competitiveness, but many organizations do not have appropriate knowledge. IMP³rove Innovation Management Academy (INSME Member from Germany) has developed a “Mini MBA” to respond to this need. The training combines the different steps of the innovation development process as well as the strategic, financial and cultural aspects which come together with the evolution of the innovation project. Through seminars, webinars/e-learning, networking online events and individual on-demand support, the “Mini MBA” enables participants to acquire new skills on innovation management, such as mastering innovation projects; effectively engaging an organisation in innovation; benchmarking the innovation management capabilities of an organisation, deriving and implementing high impact improvement measures aligned to the organisation’s ambition to grow and their ability to change. The training also helps to develop business and personal skills that are fundamental to operate in the organisation environment and to achieve project’s objectives.
In addition it also offers benefits to i) companies – which gain knowledge and capabilities to systematically manage innovation and their innovation network in terms of both quality and size, ii) academia – whose researchers’ employability is enhanced given the skills they develop in innovation management and in industrial project management, iii) intermediaries and policy makers.
