EURADA – The European Association of Development Agencies (INSME Member from Belgium) organized from the 2nd to the 4th of July a summer course on the preparation of European Project Proposals.
The event held in Brussels at EURADA premises addressed representatives from development agencies and other stakeholders from clusters, industrial associations, chambers of commerce, startups, incubators, etc. working to spur innovation. Participants had the chance to acquire new knowledge on European projects, including an overview on the most relevant open calls, on how to draft EU proposals and to identify potential partners.
Among the experts enriching the programme INSME Secretary General Giovanni Zazzerini gave a speech on the importance of exploiting and commercializing research results. Mr. Zazzerini highlighted that while EU projects register good performances in fostering international research collaboration and developing new technologies, they do not take out the most from research. He also stressed that the commercialization of research is crucial to fully exploit its results as well as to create a real impact on the societies we live in.
