Book your agenda on May from 10-13, 2010 for the next 6th INSME Annual Meeting to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event is being co-organised by the SEBRAE, INSME Member.

No participation fee is foreseen for INSME Members; participants from organisations based in Latin American, Caribbean and Central American Countries, from both public and private sector; and International Governmental Organisations.

Participation fees for other participants:
250.00 Euro for delegates from OECD Countries
150.00 Euro for delegates from non OECD Countries

Call for Co-hosting and Co-organisation of the 7th INSME Association Annual Meeting

The INSME Secretariat is launching a Call for Candidatures for Co-organising and co-hosting the 7th  INSME Annual Meeting 2011. The INSME Board will assess the proposals and a decision will be communicated to Candidates for co-hosting the meeting by May 10th, on the occasion of the 6th INSME General Assembly, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The co-host  will assist the INSME Secretariat in organising a three or four-day event to be held indicatively not before March 30th and no later than July 15th, 2011.

Deadline for proposals: 10th of April 2010.

ERA-NET CORNET 9th joint call 

The 9th Joint CORNET Call for Transnational Collective Research Project proposals will be open until 31st March, 2010. Proposals can be submitted in any industrial field by consortia composed of enterprise associations from at least 2 different CORNET countries.
The following countries and regions have already confirmed their participation in the 9th call: Austria; Belgium-Flanders; Belgium-Wallonia; Czech Republic; Germany; Hungary; Slovenia; Spain-Valencia; The Netherlands; Turkey (to be confirmed).

The INSME Association

The International Network for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (INSME) is a non for profit Association that promotes transnational cooperation and public-private partnership for  innovation in SMEs, involving  main stakeholders dealing with competitiveness issues: governmental bodies, international organisations, business support intermediaries and their associations/networks at subnational, national, regional and international level. The Network comprises at present 75 members based in 31 countries in 5 continents.
