INSME participation at the WTA events

With a view to strengthen mutual collaboration with the World Technopolis Association - WTA,    the INSME Vice President, Dr. Raimund  Broechler, participated at the 7th WTA General Assembly and International Conference on "Science City's  Sustainable Development in the Era of Global Climate Change". This event, which had the participation of over 500 people from 36 WTA Members in 27 countries, was held on September 1-4, 2010, in Hsinchu City, Chinese Taipei.

INSME Secretary General at the DIT 4th Strategic Forum

The INSME Secretary General, Ms. Simona Marzetti, will participate as guest speaker at the DIT 4th Strategic Forum hosting WAITRO 20th Biennial Congress & General Assembly on “Leadership for Innovation” (11-14 October 2010 in Dubai, UAE) organized by the Dubai Institute of Technology (DIT)/TechnoPark (INSME Member) and WAITRO -World Association of Industrial and Technological Research.

EraSME  and CORNET
Call for Trans-National Projects 

Both CORNET and EraSME have launched calls for Trans-national Collective Research Project Proposals aimed to strengthen the innovation capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. Both initiatives, the 10th Joint CORNET Call and the 8th EraSME Call, will be open until 30th September, 2010 and will help SMEs to acquire technological know-how, to increase their research efforts, to extend their networks and bridging the gap between research and innovation.

The INSME Association

The International Network for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (INSME) is a non for profit Association that promotes transnational cooperation and public-private partnership for  innovation in SMEs, involving  main stakeholders dealing with competitiveness issues: governmental bodies, international organisations, business support intermediaries and their associations/networks at subnational, national, regional and international level. The Network comprises at present 79 members based in 32 countries in 5 continents.
