INSME participation at the WTA events
With a view to strengthen mutual collaboration with the World Technopolis Association - WTA, the INSME Vice President, Dr. Raimund Broechler, participated at the 7th WTA General Assembly and International Conference on "Science City's Sustainable Development in the Era of Global Climate Change". This event, which had the participation of over 500 people from 36 WTA Members in 27 countries, was held on September 1-4, 2010, in Hsinchu City, Chinese Taipei.

European Enterprise Awards 2011
Aim: identify and recognise the most successful promoters of enterprise and entrepreneurship around Europe, showcase best entrepreneurship policies and practices, raise awareness of the added value of entrepreneurship, and encourage and inspire potential entrepreneurs.
Participants: National, regional or local authorities or public-private partnerships from all EU Member States including Norway, Serbia and Turkey

EraSME and CORNET Call for Trans-National Projects


Both CORNET and EraSME have launched calls for Trans-national Collective Research Project Proposals aimed to strengthen the innovation capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. Both initiatives, the 10th Joint CORNET Call and the 8th EraSME Call, will be open until 30th September, 2010 and will help SMEs to acquire technological know-how, to increase their research efforts, to extend their networks and bridging the gap between research and innovation.
