Though Members of the INSME Advisory Group do not have access to the Intranet, they can use their login name and password to enter specific discussion areas of the portal (the INSME Advisory Group Room and the Thematic Working Groups rooms on ICT, Financing, Innovative Enterprises).

• If you are already a Member of the INSME Association or of the INSME Advisory Group, please enter your username and password in the menu box on the upper right hand-side of the homepage.

The INSME Association Members Area

In the Intranet area INSME Members can find services and contents exclusively dedicated to them:

• institutional information about the Association, including contact details of General Assembly and Board’s Members; Statute & Inner Rules’ articles; Action Plan 2004; documents issued by the Secretariat and shared with the Members within Discussion Groups, through e-mail contacts or on the occasion of official meetings;
  
• services and tools expressly designed to help Members achieve their organisation’s goals and to support their activity.
  These include:
  - discussion areas for the exchange of information and experience on specific issues or to make proposals for new themes and actions to be taken at the association level
  - online services designed to foster Members’ cooperation in projects and initiatives or to support them when an information or knowledge need arises
  - information about off line activities organised by the Secretariat on behalf of the INSME Members (training courses, INSME Awards, etc.)

Additional contents will be developed, according to the INSME Action Plan and to the inputs that Members are willing to send us.

Members of the INSME Advisory Group do not have access to the Members Area, but they can enter specific discussion areas of the portal:

• the INSME Advisory Group room where to read past e-mails sent by the INSME Secretariat and post their feedback;
• the Thematic Working Groups rooms on: ICT; Financing; Innovative Enterprises.
  

 
Membership eligibility

The Members Area is accessible only by INSME Members, i.e. Members of the INSME Association (either Full Members, Associate Members or Observers). Until the time it will evolve into an Intranet, Members of the Advisory Group can also access the Members Area.

The following organisations and bodies can apply for Membership in the INSME Association:

• Governmental bodies (Ministries of Industry, Science and Technology, Ministries of Economy, SME and Small Business Agencies, national bodies and institutes in charge of promoting innovation and TT for companies, etc);
  
• International Organisations and International NGOs in charge of defining and managing policies, programmes, projects and initiatives for innovation and technology transfer to SMEs;
  
• Networks and aggregations of intermediaries having as a main or exclusive institutional mission the diffusion and promotion of innovation and technology transfer at sub-national, national, regional or international level
  
• Individual Intermediaries, business associations and business membership organisations
