MEDATECH
The MEDATECH project has been launched in March 2000 by ASTER ( The Science Technology and Enterprise Consortium) within the Meda Private Sector Development Programme (PSDP), with the aim to promote innovation and technology transfer among SMEs and intermediaries of the Mediterranean Area (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Libanon, Palestinians, Egypt, Syria).
This project aims at achieving the following goals:
- To increase the competitiveness and the technological performances of SMEs and Intermediaries in order to help the creation of a euro-Mediterranean free-trade zone in 2010;
- To cooperate with experts in the field of innovation, technological development, quality and R&D;
- To identify new cooperation opportunities between technopoles and Italians and Mediterranean SMEs;
- To set up long time relationships with local instit
