The Omani Fund for Development of Youth Projects (S.A.O.C.) – Sharakah (INSME Member) has recently launched a new edition of the Khazzan for SMEs Development Programme.
The initiative carried out in partnership with BP Oman is now in its 5th edition and confirms itself as a very useful measure to help local entrepreneurs to improve their business performances by assessing and identifying areas for improvements and drafting a well-structured business plan.
Ten Omani SMEs will be selected on the basis of the Sharakah Business Performance Monitoring Tool (discover more about the tool by reading the related INSME Innovation Best Practice available here) and will receive tailored support across 12 months.
During the first four editions the programme supported 86 enterprises and as declared by Mr. Dinkar Kishor, Acting General Manager at Sharakah it “had a positive impact in the community and motivated the SMEs to work harder towards improvement by applying best practices.”
