The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced two new partnerships aiming at supporting women-owned businesses and youth entrepreneurship.
Through tailored business services and leadership trainings, Ethical Apparel Africa and Junior Achievement will help the growth of enterprises led and managed by women as well as the connection of women leaders to professional networks in the Republic of Ghana, Republic of Ecuador and Dominican Republic. These partnerships will entail the deployment of skilled volunteers on long-term and short-term assignments to provide business services and training that will contribute to removing the barriers that prevent female entrepreneurs from growing businesses.
