In this article, you will find some considerations and
food for thought about open innovation. According to the author, we
should take open innovation seriously. What do you think?
In this article the China IPR SME Help Desk (INSME Partner)
explains why every company producing innovative products in China is
strongly advised to use the Chinese patent system, as a European
registered patent has no legal effect in China.
A
selection procedure for fixed-term positions has been launched by
the European Commission to set up a database of over 3000 successful
candidates with a research background. They will be placed on a
reserve list and called for interview according to the needs of the
services.
The selection addresses researchers in the following areas: Natural
sciences, Quantitative sciences, Human and Social sciences,
Agricultural, Environmental and Earth sciences and Health sciences.
Registration is available via the EPSO
website until the 1st of March 2013 (12:00 CET).

In
2012 the Leadership Council of the Network
for Business Sustainability – NBS (INSME
Member) started a research on innovating
for sustainability, whose results are now published in a Systematic Review and an Executive Report.
The Systematic Review aims to be one of the most comprehensive and
credible evidence to date on innovating for sustainability and
highlights “how-to” case studies from large and small leading
organizations.
The Executive Report intends to answer the question: "What
innovation activities help companies become sustainable?",
by providing a framework for assessing which stage of the
sustainability journey your organization currently occupies, 38
practices for fostering innovation at each stage and case studies
that are actively finding innovative ways to serve people, profits
and planet.
