Keep up to date on innovation matters worldwide with the INSME Association!
Dear INSMEnews Readers,
The final countdown towards our 9th INSME Annual Meeting in Turkey has started. We have received numerous registrations for our rich 4-day-Program and I am delighted to meet many delegates of the INSME members’ community at Izmir.
In fact I believe that our joint initiative will let us all benefit from new thoughts and networking opportunities. The most important added value might be meeting you all in person!

the right mix of investments in the portfolio is a key factor. It is
the same with innovation: the right mix of projects to support

In
Europe registering software as a copyright is a relatively uncommon
practice, with only few EU member states providing copyright
registration. Instead, evidence to prove authorship is usually
sufficient to enforce IPR ownership. This is not, however, the case
in China, where the copyright registration is highly recommended.
In this article the China IPR SME Help Desk (INSME Partner) discusses the importance of registering software as a copyright in China and describes the registration process in China.
The Inter-American
Development Bank - IDB launched a new call for proposals to improve energy efficiency and expand
access to renewable energy in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Development Fund (NDF) and the Government of South Korea, the contest is
seeking proposals that promote innovative solutions to energy
problems, benefit local communities or regions, create jobs and
contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Award winners will receive up to $100.000, as well as technical and
business development support to implement and scale up their ideas.
The deadline is the 1st
of July 2013.
