INSME is a partner in the SHE-Empower project, funded by the European Union. This project aims to foster cross-border collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities to accelerate innovation and boost competitiveness in the Mediterranean region. The other partners for this project include Larnaca and Famagusta Districts Development Agency (ANETEL), the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services, and Shipping of Seville (CCSEV), the Kirklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KTSO), the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIA BML), the Italian Chamber of Commerce for France in Marseille (CCIFM), the University of Florence (UNIFI), and Green Line Consult (GLC).
INSME will focus on promoting guidance to accessing financing opportunities, empowering women’s innovators, and fostering cross-border collaboration and regional expansion opportunities. Our activities will focus on creating guidelines for access to finance initiatives, the SHEempower Innovation Award, a service package to establish SMEs and spin-offs, the SHEempower Platform, the regional SHEempower MED Network, the SHEempower MED Innovation Exhibition, and business missions.
INSME’s expected results for this project are to successfully manage a training and coaching programme that is to be delivered to 300 women-led businesses, assist 10 women-led start-ups in establishing their business, create up to 100 new job opportunities, create a network of 300 female role models that will provide guidance for 500 aspiring or existing female entreprenuers, and to provide 100 women-led businesses with access to 100000 EUR in the form of loans.
