On June 12, INSME Academy co-organized the Advanced Manufacturing in Saudi Arabia Webinar with speakers Tamer Nahas from the Dubai World Trade Center, Giovanni Zazzerini from INSME, and Abudullah Alfaisal from Modon. This online webinar served as a platform for discussing strategies being taken by Saudi companies to encourage the foundation of new industry in the country.
The aim of this webinar was to provide information and encourage future participation in business ventures in Saudi Arabia through examples of previous ventures and opportunities. Mr. Abudullah Alfaisal spoke about the opportunities his organization, Modon, offers to businesses that are thinking about setting up a base in the country.
It is clear after this webinar that new international businesses are a priority for groups like Modon. Every step of establishing a new business or industry in Saudi Arabia is made incredibly easy. It is an incredibly fertile market supported by organizations like these, and it is easier than ever for investors to join in. Saudi Arabia aims to modernize over 11.000 factories and open 25,000 new factories by 2035. They have invested $132 billion USD into these improvements and much more.
Tamer Nahas gave an insight into the upcoming WAM Saudi event that will be held in Ridyah, Saudi Arabia on 15-17 February 2026. INSME will be present alongside its members and partners such as AMEC, BVMW, and UNCTAD. The mission of WAM Saudi is to “unite global industry leaders, innovators, and investors under one roof to redefine the frontiers of smart manufacturing, advanced logistics and next-gen technologies.” If you with to grab your tickets, you can do so today by clicking here.
