Cross-Border Collaboration in Fashion and Creative Industries with the FAB-BUS Project

13 July 2025

On June 25th, the FAB-BUS project officially launched, marking the start of an ambitious 18-month initiative designed to strengthen collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth within fashion and creative clusters across the Euro-Mediterranean region. Funded by the European Union under the Euromed Clusters Forward project, managed by ANIMA Investment Network, the project brings together partners CreaTech Bulgaria, the Moroccan Denim & Fashion Cluster (MDFC), and the Textile Sectoral Group of Unioncamere Piemonte.

FAB-BUS aims to build a shared understanding of the fashion industry’s challenges while driving opportunities for innovation and market growth for clusters. The project focuses on identifying and supporting business opportunities, promoting knowledge exchange, and creating sustainable collaboration models between Northern Africa and Europe. Through three on site study visits during the Moroccan International Textile Fair in 2025, Createch’s Summit in 2026 and finishing off with the Torino Fashion Week in Italy, clusters will connect, brainstorm and find new ways to strengthen the regional value chain between the three countries.

Led by INSME, FAB-BUS is positioned to create a vibrant experience for designers, artisans, entrepreneurs and students. It will serve as a platform to share experiences, develop innovative solutions, and strengthen economic and cultural ties across borders.

Stay tuned!
