The Balkan Business Forum 2025, held on 28 June in Bansko, Bulgaria, under the theme “The Balkans United – Through Business, Innovation and Dialogue”, was a powerful reminder of the role collaboration plays in driving regional growth and innovation in the area.
INSME Board Member Mr. Boyko Takov, Executive Director of the Bulgarian SME Promotion Agency (BSMEPA), attended the Forum for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating its commitment to fostering regional cooperation, innovation, and inclusive growth. The Forum brought together over 300 participants, including business leaders, institutional partners, diplomats, and entrepreneurs from across the Balkans, creating an environment rich in exchange and opportunity.
A key highlight of the event was the panel “Institutions Supporting Business”, moderated with great insight and energy, where discussions focused on how public and private actors can jointly create more enabling ecosystems for entrepreneurs and SMEs in the region. The panel featured contributions Mr. Takov, whose perspectives underlined the importance of dialogue and cooperation.
