Save the date for the 16th INSME Annual Meeting!

January, 31, 2020

Almost everything is set for the INSME Annual Meeting: block your agenda on the 31st of March and 1st of April and flight to Paris for the 2020 must-attend event.

While the first day will be dedicated to the INSME Members who will gather in the General Assembly to discuss the life of the Association, share updates on their activities and brainstorm on future plans, the 1st of April will be a memorable date. We will indeed celebrate the 20th anniversary of the OECD “Bologna Charter on SME policies”, the document adopted on 15th of June 2000 on the occasion of the first OECD SME Ministerial Conference hosted by the Italian Government which proposed a coherent approach to SME policies with a view to stimulating economic growth and social development worldwide. The declaration put also the basis for the establishment of the INSME Network which was then founded in 2004 and to properly mark this anniversary a joint OECD – INSME international conference will be organized. The theme identified is “High-Growth SMEs” and the brightest minds on the international scene will explore, together with INSME members, OECD delegates and practitioners, the factors that influence SMEs growth, how to deal with them, which are the measures that can support the scale-up process and much more.

An excellent speakers’ line up will ensure a stimulating and fruitful debate. Among the personalities who have already confirmed their participation, we are proud to announce the former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta and the President of BVMW, the German Mittlestand, who is also INSME vice-president, Mario Ohoven.

The event webpage and the registration will be available soon, in the meantime please contact the INSME Secretariat at secretariat@insme.org for any question you may have.
