The NEXT SOCIETY: INSME promotes a series of Digital Policy Labs

May, 29, 2020

INSME organizes a series of policy labs in the framework of the EU co-funded project “The NEXT SOCIETY”, aimed at reinforcing the innovation ecosystem and unleashing the Mediterranean creative potential.

Given the current situation linked to the pandemic, the labs will be held digitally. The first one is scheduled for this June and its focus will be the experience of the Tunisian Start-up Act, the first legislation of this kind in Africa approved by the Tunisian Parliament back in 2018, which paved the way for the country to become a start-up nation and a digital hub.

To better depict the main features of the Start-up Act, the challenges faced for its implementation and the benefits for the Tunisian entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Digital Policy Lab will host an expert from APII, the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation and one of the stakeholders of the Tunisian ecosystem that cooperated with the Minister of Technology to formulate this example of significant best practice.

The date will be announced very soon, stay tuned to discover it.
