The Qatar Development Bank (INSME Board Member) promotes an award to recognize the Best SMEs in Qatar in identifying and pursuing the most efficient strategy to face the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak. The Resilient Award is aimed at showcasing SMEs, operating in the market for over a year, that adopted business models able to overcome the economic challenges of the latest months, set up innovative measures, and managed their resources in order to maximize their efficiency.
Qatar Development Bank has instituted such a prize in order to recognize and honour the private sector’s efforts and creativity in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, with the aim to highlight the most brilliant measures adopted to successfully manage its economic consequences.
The applicants will be shortlisted by the technical Committee according to the eligibility criteria and then interviewed in order to select the winners. The first-place finisher will receive 75,000 QR, moreover, two other cash prizes will be given to the companies reaching the second and third place. The award ceremony will be held in November in the context of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).
