With just over a month to go, the 21st INSME Annual Meeting will gather leaders, innovators, and policy shapers in Alicante, Spain, on 20–21 October. Co-organized with the European Union Intellectual Property Office-EUIPO, this year’s theme – SMEs’ intangible assets – is especially vital in a time when ideas, reputation, data, and creativity increasingly drive value. How to protect those assets, how to unlock their hidden financial potential, and how to navigate new territory carved out by AI will be front and centre in every discussion. This year’s event will be supported by Alibaba, a leading global player in e-commerce and access to market for SMEs.
Over the course of the day, sessions will explore a variety of topics: IP monetization, how public support can unlock opportunities for SMEs, and the new horizons brought by AI.
The cocktail reception on Monday will be at the Castillo di Santa Barbara, offering spectacular views of Alicante and its magical sunsets over the Mediterranean.
