Alizz Islamic Bank and Sharakah launch the Second Edition of Alizz Business SME Development Programme

Oman’s SMEs ecosystem is set to receive a fresh boost as Sharakah (member of INSME) teams up again with Alizz Islamic Bank to deliver the second edition of the Alizz Business SME Development Programme. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural round, the partnership aims to reach a wider audience of Omani entrepreneurs.

The renewed programme will directly empower 15 high‑potential SMEs through an intensive 12‑month consultancy journey that includes comprehensive business assessments, governance advice, leadership coaching, and long‑term strategic road‑mapping. In parallel, a broader cohort of 300 SMEs will benefit from structured capacity‑building workshops covering financial management, marketing, digital transformation, and operational excellence. Together, the two pillars are designed to equip Omani firms with the tools required to scale sustainably and enhance their resilience in a rapidly evolving market.

The collaboration reflects a shared vision of fostering measurable impact. The intensive consultancy and capacity‑building components will drive higher productivity, foster innovation, and create new employment opportunities across the Sultanate.
