The final event of RaDAR-PPI – Rapid Detection and control system for Antimicrobial Resistance through Public Procurement of Innovation took place in Brussels and online on May 28th. INSME has been involved in this project since 2023, representing SMEs interests and perspectives.
Hosted by the Permanent Representation of the Government of Catalunya to the EU, the event brought together healthcare organisations, experts, buyers, and industry representatives to reflect on more than three years of European collaboration and discuss the future of innovation in AMR management. During the event, participants explored the main outcomes and achievements of the RaDAR-PPI project, the innovative AMR solutions implemented across healthcare settings, the insights and experiences shared by buyers, experts, and industry partners, as well as the future perspectives on AMR management and healthcare innovation.
RaDAR was an exceptional opportunity to explore how Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) can drive innovation in Europe by reducing financial risks for businesses, driving the commercialization of cutting-edge solutions and technologies, and delivering better, more cost-effective public services.
