Unioncamere-MAECI agreement to support business internationalisation

The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and the President of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Chamber of Commerce system in support of the internationalisation of Italian businesses.

The agreement recognises Unioncamere as one of the key actors of the Sistema Italia in promoting export growth and aims to involve an increasing number of Italian companies in initiatives supporting access to and consolidation in international markets. The agreement will leverage the widespread presence of Chambers of Commerce throughout Italy, as well as the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.

Through this partnership, Unioncamere will contribute its expertise on the Italian productive landscape and the export potential of local territories, while MAECI will involve the Chamber of Commerce system in institutional and economic missions, as well as in programmes dedicated to promoting the internationalisation of Italian companies.
