The AccelerAction project’s 4th and final DeepTech Talk took place on 14 November and was the perfect conclusion to the series of roundtable events. Throughout the four events, professionals presented and discussed current challenges and possible solutions to address the imbalance in the European DeepTech and innovation ecosystem. By actively working towards digital solutions, the AccelerAction project vows to overcome these challenges and unlock the full potential of transformative technologies for the benefit of European society. The project is getting closer to launching its Virtual Ecosystem (including EU-mapping and matchmaking features for collaboration) and EU-Networking Accelerator programme (EU-NAP) by the end of 2023, as well as the peer-to-peer networking sessions where start-ups from all over Europe will be selected to participate in this international in-person event for knowledge exchange and networking! The final meeting saw the following esteemed speakers: Jan Bormans, CEO at the European Startup Network; Kinga Stanislawska, Founder at Experior VC and European Women in VC; Dominik Krawczyk, CEO and Board Member at COBIN Angels; Livia Marcantonio, Project Manager at the European Business and Innovation Centre Network; Andreas Munk Holm, founder at The European VC who tackled crucial topics such as access to funding, gender inequalities in investment and start-ups, innovation milestones and challenges linked to the imbalance between strong innovators and emerging innovator countries across the EU. The recording of all four roundtables is available on AccelerAction’s website.
