INSME Member from the USA, the International Council for Small Business – ICSB has recently organized a Global Conference on “Social Innovation and Humane Entrepreneurship: From Policy to Action” in collaboration with the University of Salerno.
The event took place in Italy at the University of Salerno and at Villa Rufolo in Ravello respectively on the 4th and 5th of October.
By gathering researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers, representatives of institutions and global organisations, the event has been the occasion for an insightful and inspiring debate about the role that SMEs can play to create economic growth, organizational welfare and social development through innovation and entrepreneurial orientation. The results of this debate will nurture further initiatives of ICSB to be undertaken in the framework of the collaboration already established with the United Nations about SDGs accomplishment.
INSME supported the event and the Secretary General, Mr. Giovanni Zazzerini actively intervened by moderating a round table focused on “The role of innovation ecosystem in supporting Sustainable Entrepreneurship”.
