The Juvenile Employment Bac Ninh – JEB project is an initiative financed by the Official Development Assistance (ODA) provided by the Italian Cooperation and based on an agreement between ELIS NGO and the Vietnamese Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs – DOLISA.
With the aim to contribute to the growth of the employment rate in the Bac Ninh province, the project foresees the following activities: revision of school curricula; training of trainers and supervision of the training courses. Furthermore training activities to support institutions operating both in the field of education/labour system (school boards; DOLISA, MOLISA, etc.; personnel of employment offices, etc.) will be carried out.
An innovative methodology facilitating the dialogue between training centres and companies will enable the drafting of coherent curricula in order to provide students with the skills required by companies, as a consequence students will have an easier access to the job market and enterprises will have a qualified workforce. In addition students will also have the chance to access an internship period in one of the companies involved in project.
Finally, the project will develop a sustainable training model that is expected to be replicable in other areas of the country.
