The 13th session of the UNECE Committee on Innovation, Competitiveness and Public-Private Partnerships

March, 8, 2019

Public-private partnerships and innovation are among the main drivers towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

On the 25th and 26th of March the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe will organise the 13th session of the Committee on Innovation, Competitiveness and Public-Private Partnerships (CICPPP) to discuss the impact of innovation policies and PPP projects on national sustainable development priorities.

The Committe – which will be a segment of the International Policy Conference on “Making a Difference – Measuring and understanding the impact of innovation policies and PPP projects on achieving the sustainable development goals” – will explore why it is necessary to measure the sustainable development impact of innovation policies and PPP projects, analyse the existing schemes for evaluating innovation policies and scoring PPP projects, present UNECE’s work on innovation policy assessments and the People-first PPP impact Assessment Tool.
