INSME’s member, the International Trade Centre (ITC), has partnered with the Informal Working Group on Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for the launch of the 2023 edition of the Small Business Champions Initiative. Launched on 16 March 2023, the competition is under the theme “Helping smallholder farmers go global.” The competition seeks to disseminate information among businesses and policymakers of the challenges smallholder farmers face when it comes to international trade. They also hope to showcase best practices and encourage the small hold farmers participation in the international market. The deadline to submit proposals is 5 May 2023 and the winners will be announced 27 June 2023 at a virtual event on MSMEs Day.
