A new Partnership between INSME and Algeria Venture

23 December 2021

On December 3rd 2021, INSME signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Algeria Venture, the first state-owned start-up accelerator in Algeria, in the presence of the Algerian Minister for Start-ups Yacine Oualid. The new partnership, signed between INSME Secretary General Giovanni Zazzerini and Sidali Zerrouki, General Manager of Algeria Venture, aims to promote and strengthen the cooperation between the Italian and Algerian start-up ecosystems. The signing took place in the offices of The Hub – LVenture Group, and we thank Ludovico Peirce, Organization Manager at LVenture Group, for making the event possible.

A-Venture, the first of its kind in Algeria, plays a pioneer role by offering and facilitating logistical and development structures for start-ups and incubators as well as various accompaniment programs complying with international standards. The agreement is born after INSME explored the best practices for start-ups put in place by the Algerian government in the 6th Policy Lab “Policy reforms boosting the Algerian innovation ecosystem” (find the insights from the webinar here).

We look forward to new activities together in the months ahead!
