The Bulgarian Development Bank has issued a new SME Energy Efficiency Program to support companies in the processing sector in Bulgaria towards their transition towards a green and low-carbon economy. This new financial instrument will allow participating enterprises to benefit from direct loans ranging from BGN 100,000 to BGN 500,000 and will also be available to companies that have not been approved for EU funds. The total value of the programme is BGN 30 million, with the aim of accelerating the introduction of energy-saving technologies in the Bulgarian manufacturing sector, consequently reducing energy consumption and costs.
