BVMW and NASSCOM Sign Memorandum of Understanding

1 July 2022

The Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW), INSME Member, and the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) announced on the 1st of June the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to improve cooperation and promote the development of bilateral trade and business relations between Indian SMEs and German SMEs.

The Memorandum of Understanding ensures that both parties involved promote investment, joint ventures, and the exchange of business delegations, with the aim of developing strong links between the two organizations and cultures for business cooperation in the field of digital technologies. The MoU will also encourage a series of activities, such as seminars, conferences, and roadshows, to highlight the value of partnerships in the digital era, featuring both Indian and German professionals, and enabling both groups to gain a practical understanding of the go-to-market strategy thanks to the involvement and networking planned during the events.

Through the mutual exchange of non-confidential information on economic and commercial matters, technology landscape, local ecosystems, and digital talents for the respective members, and by encouraging SMEs on both sides to expand their digital business in India and Germany, these efforts toward strategic cooperation will facilitate the development of sustainable mutually beneficial relationships between German SMEs and the Indian IT sector.
