The President Emeritus of Confapi and President of Cea-Pme, Maurizio Casasco, led the European Assembly of Small and Medium Enterprises, now in its twelfth edition, in Katowice (Poland) on 21 November.
Casasco highlighted that “SMEs represent the beating heart of the European economic landscape, especially in this very delicate moment due to the war in Ukraine. Cea-PME, which represents 33 countries and 2.1 million companies, wants to continue to face the many difficult challenges of the present and, at the same time, build the strategies of the future. It is necessary to strengthen and accelerate the process of uniformity and European integration as our continent risks being crushed and become irrelevant in the global landscape”.
