Driving SME Competitiveness: agenda and speakers of the 22nd INSME Annual Meeting

Mark your calendars: INSME’s annual flagship conference is approaching. The 22nd Annual Meeting, co-organized with our Member Enterprise Greece, will take place in Heraklion, Crete (Greece) on October 12th to 13th. It will bring together our Network’s Members, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and researchers to investigate the drivers of SME competitiveness in a changing global scenario. The discussions will aim to foster a shared understanding of the conditions that enable SMEs across different regions and sectors to innovate, grow, and contribute to shared prosperity. 

The programme will feature high-level keynote and panel discussions addressing the key drivers of SME competitiveness, from AI, robotics and automation and the green transition to innovation ecosystems, access to finance, and the role of SMEs in tourism and territorial development. Confirmed speakers include Christoph Ahlhaus (BVMW), Marinos Giannopoulos (Enterprise Greece), and Fan Congming, (Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association), alongside prominent policymakers, business leaders, researchers, and SME representatives from across Europe and beyond.
