On the 15th of June 2026 in Nicosia, ANIMA Investment Network and Invest Cyprus, with the support of Euromed Clusters forward, convened EUROMED days. The landmark summit also celebrated the 20th anniversary of ANIMA’s dedicated action toward Mediterranean economic cooperation. The forum successfully brought together institutional public and private sector leaders, foreign investors, CEOs, and cluster organizations from across Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and Africa to build resilient economic partnerships and design long-term investment corridors
The day’s programme opened with a high-level strategic panel – “Made by Euromed: Europe-MENA Economic and Partnership Roadmaps for Integration and Shared Sovereignty” – to explore how Europe and the MENA region can strengthen economic integration and advance shared prosperity through coordinated investment and policy frameworks. Further sessions included the “Upscaling Project Pipelines Ready for Investors”, a discussion focused on accelerating investment-ready projects, enhancing access to financing, and strengthening collaboration between institutions, investors, and development partners to scale impactful regional initiatives.
The afternoon programme pivoted into the digital and green twin transitions. The first highlight, the “Green Corridors of Cooperation: Powering a Sustainable Mediterranean-Europe Future” mapped out practical, innovative partnerships in green infrastructure, climate resilience, and sustainable energy cooperation. This was followed by “Leveraging the Digital Transition to Boost Euromed Cooperation”, an exploration on how digital innovation and technology can strengthen regional cooperation, accelerate innovation-driven growth, and enhance competitiveness.
As part of the wider Euromed Days framework, ANIMA also convened its General Meeting and Industry Tech Days on 16–17 June, bringing together innovation agencies, cluster organisations, startups and research actors from across the Euro-Mediterranean region for workshops, strategic dialogue and business matchmaking sessions on industrial innovation, technological cooperation and regional value chain development.
