Women Entrepreneurship for SMEs growth and competitiveness: the SheEmpower training programme

INSME, in collaboration with the University of Florence, has launched a two-week advanced training programme for Italian women entrepreneurs as part of the SheEmpower Project, funded by the EU under the Interreg NEXT MED programme. The initiative aims to support and strengthen the competitiveness of women-led SMEs and startups through targeted support and capacity-building initiatives across the Mediterranean region.

The SheEmpower training programme will take place from 14 to 29 September and will include both in-person sessions between Florence and Rome and online sessions, for a total of 120 hours of training. It is free of charge and offers aspiring women entrepreneurs and female business owners an intensive opportunity to strengthen their entrepreneurial, digital, and leadership skills through an international and collaborative learning experience. The programme features a comprehensive training curriculum covering business planning, financial management, digital marketing, innovation management, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills, alongside individual coaching opportunities available to all participants.

The programme will provide women with access to international markets, new business opportunities, and expanded sales potential. A central focus of the experience is not only increasing aspiring businesswomen’s knowledge, but also enabling them to join the SheEmpower Network, an international community of women entrepreneurs that fosters cross-border collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking. The goal is to allow women to support each other through this network, boosting women-led businesses to thrive and contributing to inclusive economic growth.

If you are a female entrepreneur interested in participating in this free training programme, you can contact us directly at sheempower.italy@gmail.com.
