On 21 and 22 September, 10 international partners met in Catania (Italy) to kick-off of the recently launched “AccelerAction” project, with INSME participating as one of the official partners in the consortium. The main objective of this Horizon project is to create more connected and efficient innovation ecosystems to support the scaling of companies and stimulate cooperation between national, regional, and local innovation actors. The project aims to achieve this by creating a pan-European Networked Acceleration Programme, to improve business acceleration services, particularly in the field of Deep Tech, strengthen less connected innovation ecosystems by connecting them with innovation hubs, and accelerate gender equality in innovation ecosystems. INSME’s role in the project will be to enhance network connectivity within EU innovation ecosystems, to reinforce their capacity to support existing and emerging innovators and companies.
