On April 14th, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA), INSME member in Azerbaijan, hosted a meeting to discuss the newly established territorial primary organization with the Narimanov District Branch of leading political party in Azerbaijan, the Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP). The event saw, among others holding membership with the party, the Chairman of the Agency’s Management Board Orkhan Mammadov, and the Chairman of the Narimanov District Branch of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party Samir Valiyev.
Chairman Mammadov wished the territorial primary party organization luck in its work, noting that young people make up the majority of the agency’s employees, with also roughly 30% of KOBIA employees belonging to the Yeni Azerbaijan Party. Lastly, the meeting focused on the areas of joint activities, with both parties concurring that the agency will actively engage in the Yeni Azerbaijan Party’s activities and ideas, as well as organize collaborative events through the territory primary party organization.
The continuous political involvement of KOBİA can be also seen in the visit of its business delegation to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Jordan during the very next week, where both sides exchanged views on new business initiatives, investment opportunities, digitalization of SMEs, expansion of trade relations between Jordan and Azerbaijan, concluding on possible joint projects and cooperation opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship.
