Alessia Melasecche Germini, CEO of META Group, participated in the European Commission’s launch event for the extended “Booster” project. This EU-funded initiative now includes enhanced services, transitioning from solution-focused advice to a comprehensive framework encompassing dissemination, exploitation, and go-to-market strategies.
Originally launched in 2020, “Booster” was designed to help researchers overcome challenges in transforming findings into impactful results. Its free-of-charge support includes personalized guidance, networking opportunities, and soft skills development. The project has been extended for an additional four years (2024-2028), underscoring its success and growing significance.
Moreover, the initiative offers tailored assistance to start-ups and individual researchers, providing entry-level consultations and ongoing follow-ups. Many start-ups have already benefitted from its services. With its expanded scope, Booster aims to reach new sectors and SMEs, strengthening its role as a European innovation catalyst.
