SheEmpower: advanced training program for female entrepreneurs

INSME, in collaboration with the University of Florence, has launched a two-week advanced training program for Italian women entrepreneurs as part of the She Empower Project, funded by the EU under the Interreg NEXT MED programme. The project involves partners from all over the Mediterranean region, from Spain, France, Italy, and Cyprus to Lebanon and Egypt. The initiative aims to support and strengthen the competitiveness of women-led SMEs and startups through targeted support and capacity-building initiatives across the Mediterranean region.

The SheEmpower training program will take place from 16 to 30 September between Florence and Rome. It is free of charge and designed for women entrepreneurs who wish to develop their business ideas or scale their ventures at the international level. The training offers a comprehensive curriculum covering business planning, financial management, digital marketing, innovation management, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. It includes 60 hours of advanced training, 8 hours of individual coaching, and valuable networking opportunities with women entrepreneurs from across the Mediterranean.

The added value of this programme lies in providing women with access to international markets, new business opportunities, and expanded sales potential, while enabling them to join the SheEmpower Network, an international community of women entrepreneurs that fosters cross-border collaboration, knowledge exchange, and networking, ultimately supporting women-led businesses to thrive and contribute to inclusive economic growth.
