On June 11th, Brussels will host a key gathering dedicated to regional development and economic transformation. Organized by the European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA), INSME’s Member, AGORADA 2026 will bring together policymakers, development agencies, innovation leaders, and institutional stakeholders to explore how Europe’s regions can navigate profound economic, industrial, and geopolitical change.
Hosted at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the European Union from 09:00 to 17:30 CEST, the annual EURADA flagship conference will serve as a strategic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and forward-looking solutions aimed at strengthening Europe’s competitiveness, resilience, and cohesion. As Europe faces accelerating structural transformations, AGORADA 2026 will focus on the critical role that regions and Regional Development Agencies play in translating European priorities into concrete territorial action.
The conference agenda is designed around the challenges and opportunities shaping Europe’s future. Discussions will examine how regions can advance the green transition, accelerate digital transformation, and adapt industrial policy frameworks to respond to emerging realities such as geopolitical instability, energy-related disruptions, and the reconfiguration of global value chains. At the core of the event is the conviction that Europe’s transformation must remain place-based, inclusive, and innovation-driven. AGORADA 2026 aims to position regions not merely as implementers of European policy, but as essential actors in designing sustainable and resilient economic ecosystems capable of responding to rapidly changing global conditions.
AGORADA 2026 promises to be a key moment for reflection and action at a time when Europe’s regions are increasingly called upon to lead transformation from the ground up.
