The French Minister for Industry met the BVMW President Markus Jerger

The German Mittlstand association (BVMW) is intended to create a network that offers unique advantages for joining businesses. 

France’s Industry Minister, Roland Lescure, met President Markus Jerger, one of the Vice Presidents of INSME, on the  occasion of  the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Élysée Treaty. In times of global challenges, the Minister emphasized the importance of medium-sized companies for Franco-German cooperation. Markus Jerger referred to the opening of the BVMW office in Paris to strengthen the cooperation between France and Germany, including within the BVMW task force “Senegal”.

To sum up, both underlined the essential role of SMEs in these two countries, and strong cooperation can play a crucial role when it comes to facing difficult world challenges. According to Jerger indeed, the extensive presence of French exhibitors at the “Future Day of SMEs – Congress and Annual Reception 2023” in Berlin on March 1st is an eloquent example of Franco-German cooperation.
