INSME mourns the sudden departure of one of its important members, Jaime del Castillo. As President of INFYDE, Jaime led for more than thirty years the Spanish consultancy he himself had founded, relying on his highly reputed expertise on how to improve the work efficiency of SMEs clusters, on innovation and technology transfer for regional development and endogenous entrepreneurial growth.
He worked extensively for the European Commission, the OECD, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank mostly in Latin America. He was INSME’s bridge to Latin America and was a star at the INSME Annual Meeting in Puerto Vallarta in 2017.
